Multi-channel campaign for Spotify’s home of hip-hop playlist ‘A1’

CONCEPT

In the last few months, I've worked with Andpeople to launch a multi-channel community programme “A1 Selects” for Spotify's popular playlist, A1 - Aus & NZ home of hip-hop. For a period of two weeks each across July-Oct, we collaborated with three curators from different backgrounds - including UFC Fighter Tai 'BAMBAM' Tuivasa, streetwear brand Geedup Co, and 3D artist Serwah Attafuah - to have them select their picks for the playlist but also feature (and create for) across a range of touch-points: bite-sized interviews across social, on-app, product, and OOH placements around Australia. And to top it off, we skinned a whole venue in Sydney CBD for one night to celebrate Geedup's take over for Spotify A1, featuring Hooligan Hefs and DJ Talisha, and international artist Abra Cadabra.
